Buy Zapain 30mg 500mg . What Zapain Capsules are and what they are used for
This medicine has been prescribed for you for the relief of severe pain. Zapain Capsules contain
paracetamol and codeine. It contains codeine. Codeine belongs to a class of medicines called
opioid, which are ‘pain relievers. It also contains Paracetamol which is an analgesic (relieves pain)
and an antipyretic (lowers raised temperatures). Zapain Capsules can be used in children over 12
years of age for the short-term relief of moderate pain that is not relieved by other painkillers such
as paracetamol or ibuprofen alone.
This medicine has been prescribed to you and should not be given to anyone else.
Opioids can cause addiction and you may get withdrawal symptoms if you stop taking it suddenly.
Your prescriber should have explained how long you will be taking it for and when it is appropriate
to stop, how to do this safely.

2. What you need to know before you take Zapain Capsules
Zapain Capsules should not be taken longer than as directed by your doctor. Taking codeine (an
active ingredient of Zapain Capsules) regularly for a long time can lead to addiction, which might
cause you to feel restless and irritable when you stop the capsules.
If a pain killer is used too long for headaches, it can make them worse. Do not take Zapain Capsules if
• you are allergic to paracetamol or codeine, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed
in section 6

• you suffer from severe kidney or liver disease
• you know that you metabolise very rapidly codeine into morphine

emphysema
Do not use Zapain Capsules for pain relief in children and adolescents (0-18 years of age) after
removal of their tonsils or adenoids as Codeine in Zapain Capsules may cause obstructive sleep
apnoea syndrome (sleep disruption due to respiratory pauses).
Zapain Capsules should not be taken by children under 12 years of age.

   Best Pain Killer 2024

Taking this medicine regularly, particularly for a long time, can lead to addiction. Your prescriber
should have explained how long you will be taking it for and when it is appropriate to stop, how to
do this safely.
Rarely, increasing the dose of this medicine can make you more sensitive to pain. If this happens,
you need to speak to your prescriber about your treatment.
Addiction can cause withdrawal symptoms when you stop taking this medicine. Withdrawal
symptoms can include restlessness, difficulty sleeping, irritability, agitation, anxiety, feeling your
heartbeat (palpitations), increased blood pressure, feeling or being sick, diarrhoea, loss of appetite,
shaking, shivering or sweating. Your prescriber will discuss with you how to gradually reduce your
dose before stopping the medicine. It is important that you do not stop taking the medicine suddenly
as you will be more likely to experience withdrawal symptoms. Opioids should only be used by those they are prescribed for. Do not give your medicine to anyone
else.Buy Zapain 30mg 500mg
Taking higher doses or more frequent doses of opioid, may increase the risk of addiction. Overuse
and misuse can lead to overdose and/or death.
Codeine is transformed to morphine in the liver by an enzyme. Morphine is the substance that
produces pain relief. Some people have a variation of this enzyme and this can affect people in
different ways. In some people, morphine is not produced or produced in very small quantities and
it will not provide enough pain relief. Other people are more likely to get serious side effects
because a very high amount of morphine is produced. If you notice any of the following side
effects, you must stop taking this medicine and seek immediate medical advice: slow or shallow
breathing, confusion, sleepiness, small pupils, feeling or being sick, constipation, lack of appetite.
Children and adolescents Buy Zapain 30mg 500mg
Use in children and adolescents after surgery
Codeine should not be used for pain relief in children and adolescents after removal of their tonsils

  • Buy Zapain 30mg/500mg Tabletes is a pain relief medication that contains both paracetamol and codeine
  • Zapain is sometimes prescribed when milder forms of pain relief such as standalone paracetamol or ibuprofen have not relieved the pain
  • The generic version of Zapain is called co-codamol.
  • Zapain is only available on prescription from a doctor, nurse or pharmacist prescriber
  • Common indications for Zapain prescription include toothache, migraine and aching joints associated with arthritis
  • The codeine in Zapain can become addictive when it is used long term, so you will be advised that Zapain is likely to be a short term medication to avoid dependence
  • It is important to read the patient leaflet for a full list of side effects and cautions.

Zapain contains a combination of paracetamol and codeine.

Paracetamol has been used for over 100 years, but its mechanism of action is still unclear. It is likely that paracetamol reduces prostaglandin production in the brain, which in turn increases our tolerance to pain. This means that although the pain might still be there, we feel less bothered by it.

Codeine is part of the drug family called opioids. Opioids work by blocking pain signals in the brain and spinal cord, so that the pain subsides or completely disappears.

It is beneficial to take more than one type of pain relief medication when trying to manage moderate to severe pain. As Zapain combines two drugs in one tablet, it is favoured by many as it reduces the total number of pills you need to take.

Use in children with breathing problems
Codeine is not recommended in children with breathing problems, since the symptoms of morphine
toxicity may be worse in these children. Other medicines and Zapain Capsules
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other
medicines.
Some medicines interact with each other and this can alter their effect. It is particularly important to
tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking the following medicines:

Capsules. Some products which can be bought without a prescription may contain paracetamol or
